1.Increasing the number of probes 　Creating new probes using the 3'UTR region for cDNA clones that will be provided by other research project, "Construction of the full length cDNA library of rice". 2.Increasing the efficiency of procedures such as hybridization. 　Automating hybridizing and washing and increasing the staff 3.Setting up a gene expression data base 4.Promptly exchanging information with foreign centers by means of the WEB, etc
