The following people at the Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS) and companies contributed to developing the system of "Life Science Database Archive". This service was developed as part of the "Integrated Database Project"*, funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and is now being provided and maintained by the NBDC at the Japan Science Technology Agency (JST), since April 1st, 2011.

Third party systems and data utilized for the service

"TogoDB", which is used for simple-search pages, was developed as part of the "Integrated Database Project".

* The "Integrated Database Project" was a five year project (starting FY2006), funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), that aimed to improve the accessibility and usability of life science databases in Japan. It was lead by DBCLS together with 15 other Japanese universities and institutions (For details of the project see here).
